Oracle Applications DBA

The Oracle EBS Application DBA will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the Oracle EBS database and application server environment. Work closely with the functional and development teams to support the Oracle EBS suite.  Participate in the release management process to coordinate any updates, patches or cross functional issues.  Work with Oracle support to provide timely resolution to open service requests.  Responsible for maintaining production as well as non-production  environment. Patching, Cloning, code migration.  Participate in on-call rotation.

• BA/BS degree in CS, MIS, or equivalent experience
• Oracle Certification highly desirable
• At least 8 to 10 years of implementation or production support experience with Oracle E-Business suite, experience with release 12.0.6 and Oracle Database 10g(RAC) 10.2.0.4.
• Familiar with Siebel 8.0.0.4, Oracle Demantra Demand Planning 7.2 ,Oracle Transportation Management 5.5 CU4 , Oracle SOA Integration Suite 10.1.3.3 , Discoverer, EDI, Expert in application server support and performance tuning.
• Excellent Java, Oracle Applications framework and J2EE support and configuration skills.
• Must have strong application server support experience (forms, reporting, Oracle AS web server tuning, MWA Administration).
• Strong Project Management Skills
• Knowledge of Oracle AIM Methodology, including Requirements documentation, Solution Design documentation, and testing documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills

• Experience as an Oracle Apps DBA in a 24x7 Environment.
• Experience supporting Oracle EBS release 12 in a production environment.
