Customer Data Management/Credits Specialist

 Job Summary

 

The Customer Data Management/Credits Specialist is responsible for preservation of system data integrity of customer master and related files and screens, price lists and formulas and related screens, customer offers (promotions) and generation of bill-backs utilizing bill-back workbench. Quick turnaround of division and corporate requests is extremely important to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information to our “internal customers”. They are also responsible for the entry of credits to our customers, the management of inventory from those credits, and correcting any mistakes made by our sales staff through the use of debit memos.

 Requirements
  • A minimum of two years experience in Specialty Distribution or similarly related business with direct experience in Data Management, Finance or related area.
  • Two year degree or equivalent; or the equivalent combination of education and expereince.
  • Working knowledge of the Customer/Vendor/Broker community.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Excellent detail analysis, organizational and time management skills and interpersonal skills.
Essential duties and responbilities include the following
  • Data integrity maintenance of all related data as described in the summary above.
  • Credit and Debit memo entry.
  • Receipts of inventory occuring from the credit entry.
  • Management of Floating and SBT inventory.
  • Effective professional interaction with Directors, Account Executives and Sales associates to resolve missing data issues so that customer setup, authorizations and promotions can be processed in a timely fashion.
  • Creation of system reports and distribution to appropriate personnel
  • Ensure timely transmission and effective communication of data to our customers, vendors and brokers.
  • A complete understanding of the DPI Oracle System as it relates to the job duties .
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
